JOURIAN, Sept 26: BJP Akhnoor candidate and retired police officer, Mohan Lal Bhagat here today conducted door-to-door outreach programme in Jourian Bazar and also held public meetings in Charda Gran, Partap Kot, Bangti and Gandarwan where hundreds of BJP supporters gathered.
Speaking on the occasion Bhagat emphasized his dedication to fulfilling the 25 key promises outlined in BJP’s Sankalp Patra.
He announced a major uplift in social welfare schemes with enhancement of old age, widow and disability pensions from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 3,000 and increase in coverage limit of Ayushman Bharat Yojana from Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 7 lakh per person.
“We will work tirelessly to ensure Akhnoor’s development and making it a district will be my top priority,” he maintained adding: “This step will open new avenues for growth, employment opportunities, and will enhance the economy of the constituency.”
