SRINAGAR, Dec 25: Bhartiya Janta Party today celebrated birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the party’s victory in Assembly elections by distributing Ladoos at Lal Chowk, here today.
National secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and former Prabhari Jammu and Kashmir Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, BJP leader Dr Hina Shafi Bhat, who was the party candidate from Amirakadal seat and other BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
Later, addressing a press conference, Dr Hina Bhat said that Kashmir will witness huge change in development, prosperity and progress after BJP comes to the power. She said that people of J&K also want to see the development here like other States are witnessing since BJP came to power at Centre. People suffer a lot in flood days and now they want to see the new change, she added.
Sukhminderpal Singh lauded Avinash Rai Khanna, BJP Prabhari, party candidates and workers for achieving glorious success of 25 seats in Assembly polls. “BJP has worked a lot on ground to achieve this success and huge turnout of voters clearly indicated that people really want to see change which they see only in Bhartiya Janta Party’s better Governance,” he added.
