KATHUA, Nov 23: Pahadi Zila Election In-charge, Sanjay Baru today chalked out planning for upcoming DDC election in a meeting held at Marta Nagrota, here.
He was accompanied by Gopal Mahajan Zila Parbhari, Col Mahan Singh (Retd) District president and contesting DDC candidate, Sumesh Spolia MC Chairman and Sushma Kariyal BDC Mahanpur Chairperson.
Sanjay Baru in his address said that the earlier Governments used to make schemes with half heart and no benefit was able to reach up to the ground level. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Union Government was now working with dedication to deliver the benefit right up to the grass root level.
He said that now it is ensured that the actual deserving population gets the due benefit with the removal of the middle men.
Baru disclosed that earlier in the meeting various Panchayat wise committees were also framed to gear up campaign at the Panchayat level which includes Panchs, Sarpanchs and local leaders of respective Panchayats.
Gopal Mahajan elaborated various schemes announced by the Modi Government during the COVID-19 lockdown whereas Col Maan Singh said that the he has served the nation as a soldier for his entire life and ensured the masses that he will dedicate himself fully for the cause of society.
Party workers, BDC/MC Chairpersons, Sarpanches, Panches and prominant citizens were also present during the meeting.
