JAMMU, Nov 25: Senior Congress leader Satish Sharma has accused the BJP president J&K UT, Ravinder Raina of misleading the people of Jammu over Sarore Toll Plaza.
Talking to media-persons here today, Satish said that ‘no statement from the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Sarore Toll Plaza, indicates that BJP State president Ravindra Raina’s claim that he wrote a letter to Gadkari regarding the closure of Sarore Toll Plaza that has also gone viral on social media a few days ago, was just an attempt to befool the people of Jammu.
It is strange that there is no response to the letter written by Ravinder Raina from the office of Union Minister Gadkari and the National Highway Authority officials do not get any instructions on the closure of Toll Plaza by the Union Minister. It clearly shows that the letter written by Ravinder Raina must be lying in dustbin of the minister, Satish said.
The Congress leader said that whenever the people of Jammu fight for their rights, in response the BJP president Ravinder Raina circulates a fake letter. This is what he did at the time of demand regarding holiday on Maharaja Hari Singh’s birthday.
Satish said that the dual standards of BJP got exposed in front of the public. It has been proved that BJP is anti-Jammu. There is no doubt because ever since the BJP came to power, all decisions have been taken against Jammu.
He said BJP is going to impose two more Toll plazas on the people of Jammu, so now the time has come for the people of Jammu to stand together and agitate against the decisions taken by the BJP regime against Jammu so that the public can get justice.
Chairman of Minority Cell, Baldev Singh Wazir and Youth Congress leader Suman Preet Singh were also present on the occasion.
