BJP committed to improve sports infrastructure in UT: Yudhvir

JAMMU, Oct 16: Yudhvir Sethi, vice president today reiterated the commitment of Bharatiya Janata Party to improve sports infrastructure across the Union Territory.
He said that sports are the key to a society with a healthy physique as well as a healthy mind. He expressed this while addressing a gathering during a Dangal event at Panchayat Aithem, here.
Yudhvir Sethi was the chief guest during a Dangal, organized at Village Challani which was organized by Challani Dangal Committee under the supervision and patronage of the chief organizer, Sham Singh (Naib Sarpanch) along with his team.
Yudhvir Sethi while addressing the gathering thanked the organizing team especially Naib Sarpanch Sham Singh for organizing such an attractive sports event in the area that has attracted huge gatherings of Dangal and other sports enthusiasts. He said that the local wrestling tournaments are no less than a festival for the people here who feel highly excited to witness the bouts between the wrestlers from different regions.
The senior BJP leader said that developing sports culture among the young minds is necessary for the overall development of one’s personality. Asserting that sports hold the key to a healthy body and a healthy mind, he urged the youth to make sports an inseparable part of their daily routine in life.
Prominent persons including Ajay Sharma, Mandal President; Bodh Raj Singh, Sarpanch Surinsar Panchayat; Sunny Sharma vice president Mandal; Tilak Raj Sharma, Rehmat Ali (BDC), Virender Sharma and Nand Kishore were present during the event.
