BJP contesting elections in Kashmir for victory: Kaul

ANANTNAG, Mar 8:  BJP candidate for Anantnag –Pulwama Constituency, Mushtaq Ahmed Noorabadi  held a meeting of party office bearers, Morcha heads and other activists at Harnag near here today to discuss the poll strategy in the constituency.
The meeting was chaired by Ashok Kaul Organisational general secretary BJP, party vice president and incharge Kashmir, Ramesh Arora, BJP secretary Charnajit Singh Khalsa, party senior leaders Sofi Mohammed Yousuf  and Ghulam Nabi Dar were among others who addressed the meeting.
Addressing the meeting Ashok Kaul said that BJP is not contesting the elections in Kashmir Valley just as a formality but for victory this time.
He said people have given lot of response to the party during its meetings in length and breadth of the Valley and the spirits of party men are very high this time.
He appealed the people of the Constituency to vote for  Noorabadi and strengthen the party so that country will have corruption free, scam free and pro people Government led by Narendra Modi at Centre.
Ramesh Arora said that BJP has emerged as a party to reckon with in Valley now and it was due to the efforts of the party and its Valley based cadres who worked over night to take party message in every nook and corner.
Noorabadi said that people of Kashmir are fed up with the traditional parties like NC, Congress and PDP which ruled the State since 1947 in one form or the other. The people consider them the main cause of their present miseries and turmoil in Kashmir and so they are firm to cast their votes in favour of BJP candidates this time.
Noorabadi said if elected, he will work for progress and property of Kashmir as a whole and return of the displaced people to their homes and hearths with dignity and honour so that the age old composite culture of Valley is restored.
