JAMMU, Mar 21: Terming the present coalition as grave security risk, BJP today demanded its dismissal and imposition of Governor rule in the State.
This Government has been totally exposed for its anti people and pro–separatist policies, BJP State president Jugal Kishore Sharma told reporters here.
Lambasting the Coalition Government, Jugal accused it of murder of democracy and suppressing the voice of nationalist forces on the floor of the House. “This Government has time for discussing the issue of Guru and resolutions on him but no time to discuss the development issues’’ he added.
He said the main reason for his suspension for the rest of the session was that he objected to raising of anti national issues by some members on the floor of Assembly and also highlighted the problems of the people of Jammu and Ladakh region who are being discriminated in the developmental fields for the years together.
The coalition is trying to create such an issue to divert attention from its failure on developmental front and the Government is hell bent to deprive the people of Jammu and Ladakh regions of their rights, he added.
Jugal said the NC was furthering its agenda which is a threat to national unity and integrity and also Congress was hand in glove with the party.
Ashok Khajuria said BJP legislators boycott will continue till suspension of Jugal Kishore is revoked and Government apologizes for the same.
“We would move Adjournment Motion in the House demanding suspension of business to discuss the manhandling of Ch Sukhnandan’’ said Khajuria.
Recruiting 2700 people from Kashmir under special recruitment drive and merely 500 from entire Jammu province too indicate the height of discrimination with Jammu. He appealed the State Governor to present the real picture of affairs in the State and recommend dissolution of the State Assembly.
