BANIHAL, Mar 15: Continuing with his whirlwind tour of all the assembly segments falling in the Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha constituency, the BJP candidate, Dr. Jitendra Singh today reached Banihal, a town overlooking Pir Panchal where he held a series of election meetings appealing to all communities to vote for BJP because this is the only political party which follows the principle of “Jusitce to all, appeasement to none”.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said, if voted to power, BJP will ensure equitable distribution of resources among all regions and communities. Both the country as well as the State of J&K have become slaves of dynasty rule which has deprived the youth of a fair deal, he alleged.
Brushing aside the propaganda that BJP does divisive politics, Dr. Jitendra Singh assured people of Banihal that on the contrary, BJP is constantly endeavouring to unite all sections of society and has even set up a separate “Morcha” in the organization for the service of minority communities.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said that BJP believes in equal respect for all religions and not in pseudo- secularism of Congress which is a political eyewash.
Describing Banihal as gateway to Kashmir, Dr Jitendra Singh said, the message must go across that BJP stands for unity and integrity of all the three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh as well as that of the country.
Earlier, Dr Jitendra Singh also held a road show at Ukhral on his way to Banihal from Ramban.
Mohd Salim Bhat, Abdul Hamid Khan, Raj Riyaz, Tariq Ahmed, Moulvi Mohd Amin, Mohd Iqbal, Arun Chibber,Rajiv Charak and Vijay Mohan Thakur among others joined the campaign in Banihal.
