JAMMU, Apr 30: Maintaining that BJP is a Party of inner democracy and freedom the party National joint general secretary (Org.) B.L. Santhosh today said that there is no room for dynastic politics in BJP and every worker having capacity and capability can rise to post of Prime Ministerial candidate and president of the Party.
Addressing a one day Party workshop here today, Mr Santhosh organsied to prepare the party activists for undertaking Maha Sampark Abhiyan, he said the people have now realized that BJP is a Party with difference having inner democracy and freedom.
This is the cause of growing popularity of the Party which has emerged as the largest party of the world , he added.
Besides Mr Santhosh, State vice president Col. (retd) Uttam Singh, State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, Ministers-Ch. Lal Singh, Sukhnandan Kumar, Abdul Gani Kholi and Priya Sethi, Vice Chairman Kissan Board Daljeet Singh Chib, Sampark Abhiyaan State Pramukh- Karan Singh and Gulam Ali Khatana and MLC Ashok Khajuria were present on the occasion.
Mr Santhosh, said through this Abhiyan, Party activists will be visiting the people at their doors to express gratitude for opting to be a member of BJP and to further mobilize them to be party activists. He congratulated the State Unit of BJP for creating record by registering more than six lakh new members in just five months and expressed hope that in the next three months the Party will see more and more people taking its membership.
He said that the first phase of getting members registered is over and the second phase is now approaching. Thereafter, the third phase would be to ensure the participation of these members in training workshops and finally the whole exercise will conclude with the reorganization of the party structure.
Santhosh said that the membership drive has taken BJP at number one position and the largest political party in the world.
Col. Uttam Singh in his inaugural address, spoke on the basic idea of the whole campaign named Maha Sampark Abhiyan and briefed on how to proceed with the proper homework and preparedness.
Ashok Kaul organization general secretary of the State sought the details for organizing such workshops at District and Mandal levels across the State from respective district Presidents/ districts Pramukh and Seh-Pramukh.
Kissan Morcha State President & Abhiyan Convenor Karan Singh proposed the vote of thanks.
State Convener Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana conducted the proceedings.
The workshop was attended by Senior leaders, State office bearers, MLAs, MLCs, District Presidents and general secretaries, Pramukh and Seh-Pramukh of Districts.
