Billawar, Sept 13: Ahead of Assembly polls, BJP leader Narayan Dutt Tripathi today sought to woo the people of Billawar Constituency, saying the party will help the region get justice as it has been given “Step-motherly” treatment by the congress M.L.A during the last 12 years
Addressing the large gathering in Lakhri area of Billawar, Narayan Dutt appealed the people to abstain from rumours spreaded by the Congress Party regarding the BJP mandate in Billawar Constituency. He said BJP stands for democracy and welfare of people  and any decision  pertaining to mandate by party High Command will be on ground reality. He said only right and deserving candidate will get the mandate in Billawar Constituency.
He urged the people to strengthen the hands of BJP adding that vote for BJP means victory of Nationalist Forces.  He asked the people not to fall in the trap of congress and punish them for their misdeeds and mis-governance.
Later on, a two minutes mouring was held for those who lost their lives due to flash floods in the entire State of J&K. Narayan Dutt expressed shock and deep concern over the loss of human lives and property in the State. He said, recent floods in J&K is the worst natural calamity in the history of State. Expressing his complete solidarity with the flood victims, he appealed the people to come forward and help the flood affected people in the State.
