JAMMU, Mar 30: To seek support of the people and ensure their vote in favour of the party, BJP Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Yudhvir Sethi, along with Mahila Morcha State president Priya Sethi, addressed a massive public meeting in Rajput Mohalla falling in Shalimar area of old city and later took out a rally amid the slogans of BJP zindabad, Narendra Modi zindabad and Vote Do Vote Do, BJP Ko Vote Do.
Yudhvir Sethi, while appealing the people to vote for Jugal Kishore Sharma, the BJP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, said that the Congress-led UPA has been ruling the country for the last almost 10 years and what it did is know to every one now.
The BJP leaders later in a handout also appealed the people of Udhampur-Kathua constituency to vote for party candidate Dr Jitendra Singh.
Another meeting was convened by party general secretary Kavinder Gupta here in Ward No 38. Mr Gupta appealed the voters to vote for Jugal Kishore Sharma party candidate. Ashish Kumar, Bushan Sharma, Pawan Sharma, Zaffar Abass and Rajinder Kumar attended the meeting.
Another meeting was organized by All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference under the leadership of H L Chatta in which people of the Jammu region were requested to vote for BJP candidates Jugal Kishore Sharma for Jammu Poonch seat and Dr Jitendra Singh for Kathua -Doda LS seat.
The meeting decided to launch campaign for BJP candidates as strengthening of nationalist forces was the need of the hour.
