JAMMU, Aug 16: Celebrating the ongoing Pakhwada on first anniversary of Article 370 and 35-A abrogation and paying tributes to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary, BJP leaders distributed essentials among the needy at Kusht Ashram, Bhagwati Nagar. BJP leaders including former J&K President BJP, Sat Sharma and District President, Munish Khajuria graced the occasion.
The programme was organized by BJP Mandal President Keshav Chopra. Municipal Councillor, Pramod Kapahi also accompanied the BJP leaders during the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma talked about former Indian PM, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and said that PM Modi is working hard to fulfill the dreams of leaders like Vajpayee.
Munish Khajuria, Kapahi and Keshav also spoke on the occasion and called Vajpayee as one of the few stalwarts in Indian politics which are liked by all.
Vinod Wazir, Munish Gupta, Bubesh Thappa, Vishal Mahajan, Rakesh Sharma, Ghanyshyam, Deepak and others were also present on the occasion.
