UDHAMPUR, May 21: For identification and prioritization of the more works to be done under MPLAD by Member Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas, a BJP meeting of Udhampur Assembly constituency was held here today.
The well attended meeting was chaired by State BJP general secretary Pawan Khajuria, who listened to the general demands and grievances of the people from different areas of Udhampur. The delegations listed the grievances concerning water scarcity, electricity supply and road connectivity. They informed about the works, which need to be done on priority basis in their respective areas.
Pawan Khajuria assured that all the required developmental works would be initiated soon and completed timely. He informed that repair work on Bawa Bakli bridge has been completed by the administration while process was on for installation of 63 KVA transformer for Laddan, Garnai and Tamberkot Pakhlai. Similarly lane work at village Thanger has also been got sanctioned under MPLAD.
The meeting was also addressed by BJP district president Rakesh Gupta, Amit Sharma, Ramnik, Balwant Rai. Krishan Lal, Raj Ali, Mandal presidents Chuni Lal Dogra, Karnail Singh, Madan Sharma, Veer Singh, Mahesh and others.
