JAMMU, Feb 28: Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha, J&K, has condemned the attitude of State BJP Ministers for not raising the issue of declaration of gazetted holiday on birth anniversary of late Maharaja Hari Singh before the Chief Minister of J&K State.
A meeting of Executive Committee Members of the Sabha was held at Raj Tilak Bhawan Purani Mandi Jammu under the chairmanship of Narayan Singh, president Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha, where in the issue for declaration of gazetted holiday on birth anniversary of late Maharaja Hari Singh was discussed. The members were shocked to observe that BJP Ministers took up Jammu issues before the CM , but kept mum on the issue of declaration of gazetted holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.
The attitude of the BJP Ministers was condemned by the executive committee members, who said that demand for declaration of gazetted holiday was not of Rajputs but of all Jammuties and the civil society. The Government must consider it on priority, they added.
The meeting was attended by Pavitar Singh, Bishan Singh, Rangeel Singh, Pawandev Singh, Anchal Singh, Mohinder Singh, Pawan Singh and Shekhar Singh.
