JAMMU, Dec 19: Describing Congress Party as an instrument of service to the people and having always worked for upliftment and well being of the people keeping aside their caste, colour, region or religion, former minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla today said that Congress Party has always defeated the autocratic behaviour of those who believe in suppressing or oppressing and victimizing the masses and opponents while in power.
Addressing party workers meeting at Nanak Nagar here today, Bhalla said that Congress party is emerging stronger in all areas of the State and it would vigorously expose the wrong policies of the PDP-BJP Government. He accused the two parties of hoodwinking the people during elections. He said that poor governance has rendered the administration completely paralysed. He exhorted the administration to wake up from deep slumber and attend to the public issues.
Bhalla alleged that the Government has failed to ensure delivery at the basic levels like availability of ration, power, health, education sector and unemployment besides firing affected people and the farmers. The employees of different categories including teachers, daily wagers, casual and need based workers and other such categories of people are regularly seen on protests for their just and genuine demands.
This kind of situation has disappointed every common man who are already facing the brunt of soaring inflation of Modi government, as the prices of all essential commodities and items of daily use have increased manifold.
Anil Chopra District, President Urban , Dr Ramakant Dubey, Bupinder Kour Block President Mahila Congress also addressed gathering at Nanak Nagar.
