JAMMU, Apr 5: BJP senior leader and JMC Councilor, Ward No 41 Sanjay Kumar Baru along with BJP Shakti Kendra Pramukh, Ashok Wazir organized ward meeting regarding Party’s upcoming programmes i.e”BJP Foundation Day” on April 6 and Jayanti of Bharat Ratna, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar at Colonel Colony Bohri in Ward-41.
The meeting was chaired by BJP Talab Tillo Mandal president, Keshav Chopra.
Addressing the meeting Sanjay Baru said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi various welfare schemes for the poor, farmers, deprived and under privileged, SCs, STs and OBCs are being implemented in top priority through the length and breadth of the country. He said on the direction of national BJP president, J.P Nadda, State president, Ravinder Raina and general secretary(Org.), Ashok Koul social justice fortnight commencing from April 7 to April, 20 as “Samajik Nyay Pakhwada” by organising outreach programmes regarding different welfare schemes of Union Government like Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Har Ghar se Jal, PM Kissan Scheme, Jotiba Phule Diwas, Free Vaccination Scheme, Greb Kalyan Ann Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav etc.
He further said that booth president will have to play an important role in bringing all these public welfare schemes of Narendra Modi led Union Government to grassroot level. He said BJP Booth Committee members are the main mediator between the Government and masses for smoother implementation of these welfare schemes.
Keshav Chopra, while addressing the meeting instructed the booth presidents to hoist the party flags at their respective booths. He insisted for the implementation of these schemes at grass root level.
After the meeting, Party flags and other party materials were distributed by the leaders among the Booth Presidents.
District vice president Jaideep Singh Samyal, Jatin Sethi, Brijesh Gupta, Vinod Wazir, Booth presidents Rakesh Sharma, S.Jangjeet Singh,Naresh Gupta, Sudhanshu Bardhbaj and Ashish Mangora were also present in the meeting.
