NEW DELHI: Accusing the BJP and RSS of being ‘anti Dalit ‘, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said the BJP and the RSS want Dalits & and Adivasis to continue to exist at bottom rung of society.
Taking to Twitter, Mr Gandhi posted on his social media account a video charging the BJP Government at the Centre with failing to stop increasing atrocities on Dalits and for the dilution of the SC/ST Act.
”Central to the RSS/ BJP fascist ideology, is that Dalits & Adivasis must continue to exist at the bottom rung of society. In this disturbing video, the dangers of this mindset and how it’s openly propagated by senior RSS/ BJP leaders is revealed,” Mr Gandhi tweeted.
The Congress has charged the Modi government with failing to put up a strong case for the Dalits in the Supreme Court, leading to a dilution of the Act. (AGENCIES)
