JAMMU, Dec 6: Brigadier Khuda Baksh Memorial Public Hr. Sec. School (BKBMPS) celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and fervor at the Sahir Ludhianvi Cultural Hall, Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust, Jammu.
The event commenced with a bouquet presentation to the chief guest, Anand Jain, ADGP Jammu Region, by Principal Nehreer Khan. This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, Haji Abdul Hamid Choudhary, Patron-in-Chief of GDCT; Arshad Ali Choudhary, Chairman of GDCT; Iftikhar Hussain Chauhan, Director of BKBPS; Er. Mohd. Sadiq Azad, General Secretary GDCT; Jb. Shouket Javed, Sr. Trustee; and Jb. Mohammad Yousuf Khepar, along with the school staff.
The event was a spectacular showcase of talent, creativity, and teamwork, featuring a diverse range of performances. The highlight of the day was the traditional Gojri and Punjabi dance performances by the students, which celebrated their cultural heritage. The ramp walk by Nursery and LKG students showcased their confidence and poise, followed by a high-energy dance performance by the UKG students.
In his speech, Anand Jain commended the inclusive environment at the school and urged the students to make the most of the opportunities provided. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in shaping a better future for the youth.
Chairman of the Trust, Arshad Ali Choudhary presented a Memento to the chief guest for his services in providing support for the welfare & protection of the people of J&K.
Iftikhar Hussain Chauhan, Director of BKBMPS, recalled the contributions of the school’s founder, Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary, whose vision continues to inspire the institution.
The prize distribution ceremony recognized the achievements of the students, followed by a spectacular musical theatre performance of Alibaba, which was a major highlight of the day. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Arushi Jamwal, and the entire programme was anchored by Manzoor Ahmed and Arushi Bandral.
