NEW DELHI, May 9: Black pepper strengthened by Rs 10 per kg in an otherwise listless spices market in the national capital today owing to increased buying by domestic consumers amid limited supplies.
Rest all other spices held steady in the absence of any large scale buying activity.
Black pepper rose by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 570-750 from Friday’s closing level of Rs 560-740.

Ajwain (per kg) 155-190, black pepper (per kg) 570-750, betel-nut (kg) 300-350, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,730-1,765 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,950-2,050.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 790-850, cardamom (colour robin) 790-810, cardamom bold 800-820, cardamom extra (bold) 930-980 and cloves 720-840. (PTI)
