JAMMU, Mar 17: Defeating Blue Warriors by 8 wickets in the summit clash, Black Riders lifted the title trophy of the Inter-Team T-10 Cricket Tournament, organised by National Public Playway and High School, Shiv Nagar, supported by Nat Manch at Toph, here today.
Vaishno Verma, Principal of the National Public Playway School was the chief guest on the occasion.
Earlier, in the final, put into bat, Blue Warriors made 35 runs. Mani made 12 runs in 4 balls and took 2 wickets, while Sachin scored 12 runs off 18 balls.
In reply, Black Riders chased the target in 5 overs by losing 2 wickets, thus won the match by 8 wickets. Tushar top scored with 32 runs off 15 balls, while Munish contributed 8 runs in 4 balls.
Tushar Sharma was declared as man of the match, while Mani was adjudged as the best captain of the Tournament and Munish Sharma emerged as the best bowler of the Tournament.
The match was officiated by Rohit Salgotra and Sports In-charge, Sulekha.
Chief guest and other dignitaries distributed mementoes and prizes among the winners and runners-up teams on the valedictory function.
