UDHAMPUR, Nov 20: Block Level Inter Panchayat Competitions for boys and girls of Block Panchari, organized under the Khelo India Scheme were held at Government Higher Secondary School Panchari.
In U-15 Volleyball, GMS Sunthal Chulna emerged winner, while GMS Meer remained runner-up, whereas in U-15 Kabaddi, GMS Berenda emerged winner and New Star HS Panchari remained runner-up.
In U-15 Kho-Kho, GMS Berenda emerged winner and GMS Panchari remained runner-up
In U-15 Athletics (100 meters), Ajay Kumar of GMS Berenda, Mukesh Singh of GMS Gula Ban and Anil Singh of GMS Meer bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively, whereas in Shotput, Ankush of Himalayan Public School, Hans Raj of GHS Kultayar and Ravi Kumar of GMS Berenda clinched Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
In Long Jump, Sumit Kumar of GMS Berenda, Mukesh Kumar of GMS Gula Ban and Yash Pal Sharma of GMS Panchari secured Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
In U-15 (50 kg), Jagdish Kumar of GMS Berenda emerged winner, whereas in 30 kgs, Swarn Singh of GMS Gula Ban emerged winner.
In U-18 Volleyball, GHS Panjar emerged winners, while GHSS Panchari secured runner-up position.
In U-18 Kabaddi, GHSS Panchari emerged winner and Himalayan Public School secured runner-up position.
In U-18 Athletics (100 meters), Sangeet Singh of New Star HS Panchari, Rakesh Singh of GHSS Panchari and Sanjeev Singh of Himalayan Public School bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively, whereas in Shotput, Manat Singh of GHSS Panchari, Jatin Prasher of GHSS Lander and Arjun Singh of Himalayan Public School clinched Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
In Long Jump, Akshay Kumar of GHSS Lander, Joginder Singh of GHSS Panchari and Pawan Singh of New Star HS Panchari bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
In Wrestling (60-70 kgs), Rohit Sharma of Himalayan Public School emerged winner, whereas in 45-55 kgs, Santosh Kumar of Local Club Panchari emerged winner.
