JAMMU, Oct 5: A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was held at Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET), Kot Balwal, here.
Seventy three units of Blood were donated, out of which 10 units were donated by the staff members of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and 63 units were donated by the students of MIET, Jammu.
The camp was organised jointly by the Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region, Govt Medical College Hospital, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and MIET College.
The Camp was inaugurated by BC Sharma, Dean MIET, Jammu in the presence of Syed Rizvi and Surinder Kumar, HR Managers, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited. Vikram Sharma, Area Manager Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. Jammu, Dr Lubna from Blood Bank and Vironica Marwah, Field Officer of IRCS, Jammu Region were actively involved in the proper management of the camp.
