JAMMU, Feb 16: Blossom’s Playway School, Bahu Fort celebrated its 5th Annual Day with pomp and show at Mahatma Atma Ram Samadhi, here today.
On the occasion, Banarsi Lal Pajgotra, president Saryara Sabha was chief guest, while Avtar Chand Sagotra, prominent citizen of the area was the guest of honour and Ram Lal Sagotra, Chairman of the School Management presided over the function.
Principal of the School, Rachana Sagotra presented the welcome address and also read out the annual report highlighting the achievements of the students in curricular and co-curricular activities.
Various colourful items were presented by the tiny tots of Blossom Play Schools highlighting the theme “Bachpan-The Memories of tomorrow”. Children recited mantras and various poems. The major attraction of the function was the colouful cultural programme presented by the little kids which included group dance and martial art. Children from pre primary participated in the fancy dress competition and danced to the tunes of various rhymes and songs.
Teaching Department in-charge Kiran Sagotra presented vote of thanks, while the function was conducted by Shivanshi Sagotra and Rahul Punia, head girl and boy of the school respectively.
Later, mementoes were presented to the participating kids, who excelled in curricular and co-curricular activities by the Chairman and other dignitaries.
