JAMMU, July 24: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) presented its 20th musical concert on Kargil Diwas in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art production at Open Air Theatre, Durga Bhawan, Janipur.
The songs were produced, written and directed by ML Dogra, a renowned writer and musical play director.
The program was inaugurated by Ved Singh Thakur whereas VK Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India was the chief guest and J K Raina, freelancer producer director films was Guest of Honour.
The event was commenced with the patriotic songs “Ek Desh Ke Dularo Uncha Rahe Tiranga, Watna De Paredaaro Uncha Rahe Tiranga”, “Ham Sab Ek Hain”, “Ujwal Din”, “Koi Bole Ram Koi Allah Bole” and “Ao Juan Ek Hamara Khoon. The music of the songs was composed by renowned music teacher, Raju Bajgal.
Dogra, chairman BLSKS highlighted the Importance of the day and said that India will observe the 21st anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26 whereas the chief guest of the function lauded the effort of organisers for organising such function on the eve of ‘Kargil Diwas’.
