JAMMU, Nov 4: To promote the traditional culture of J&K , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented 181st Saturday series musical play “Swachhta Hi Sewa” in collaboration with , Sangam Tru Art Production, here today at Main Stop , Janipur, Jammu.
The play was inaugurated by Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department of J&K Government while V K Magotra, former Regional Director Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India J K.Raina, Producer , Director Films, R P Amla, former Field Publicity Assistant of Directorate of Field Publicity, were the special guests.
During the programme, Nukkad skits, songs and dances were presented. The play was written, produced and directed by M L Dogra while the music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor, BLSKS.
The chief guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective.
Earlier, welcoming the audience, M L Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan, highlighted the importance of the day and urged upon the people to come forward in making India a proud nation.
The singers, musician ,trainees, actors , students of Music and Computer Institute, who performed on the occasion, included Usha Handoo, K K Joshi , Raju Bajgal ,Hem Raj , Deevam Jandiyal, Rakshit Sharma , Druv Pandit , Tilak Raj, Rajni Gupta, M C Kotwal, Ritesh Magotra, Sant Das, Rahul Kumar,Vansh Raina, Surinder Verma, Aryan Verma , Himika, Mitali, Maethli, Bhoomika Chib, Ujwal , Rakshit Sharma, Darsh Kachroo, Ravi Kumar, Darshan Rajwal , Vanshika, Shivali, Parul Sharma, Vishali, Rahul Raina and others. Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
