JAMMU, Dec 20: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) performed it’s 81st Saturday Musical Play “Bharat Desh Mahaan” today in collaboration with Unison Cultural Troupe , Sangam Tru Art Production & ESRM at Janipur, on the theme of National Integration and Communal Harmony.
The Play was written and Directed by M L Dogra , renowned writer and musical play director. The Program was inaugurated by V K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India as chief Guest and Romesh Chander, Event Director, was the guest of honour.
The Programe commenced with the songs “Ek Desh Ke Dularo Uncha Rahe Tringa, Watna De Pahredaro Uncha Rahe Tiranga”, “Ham Sab Ek Hain”, “Koi Bole Ram Koi Allah Bole”, “Ao Juan Ek Hamara Khoon” and the music of the play was composed by renowned music teacher Raju Bajgal.
The chief guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective on the theme of National Integration.
Earlier, welcoming the audience M L Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan highlighted the story of the play and urged upon the people to come forward in making India “A Proud Nation” .
All the renowned artistes and students took a solemn pledge on the occasion to eradicate social evils and to foster National unity. The singers, musician, actors, students and their parents who participated in the programme were Usha Handoo, Raju Bajgal, Sant Das, K K Joshi , M C Kotwal , Sunny Manhas, Pooja Gupta, Juhi Mehra, Dhruv Pandit,Vishal Dogra, Sahil Kumar, Shaksham Khajuria, Sunil Kumar, Rajni Gupta, Aadhishwar Vaid, Vansh Raina, Megha Raina, Shaan Khan, Shivaal, Asha Sharma, Shival, Ashok Sharma, Joginder Singh Chib, Nitin, Parul, Daksh, Tej Partap and others.
