JAMMU, July 14: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Social Welfare Department J&K Government and Sangam Tru Art Production here today presented a mega cultural programme on ‘Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyan’.
A pledge was also taken by more than 50 students, teachers and prominent citizens which was administered by M.C Kotwal, secretary BLSKS.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest V.K Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity while Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director J&K Health Department was the guest of honour.
Artists of BLSKS presented theme based songs written by Dr. M.L Dogra and music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor of BLSKS.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. M.L Dogra, Chairman BLSKS.
Singers, musician and actors who performed in the programme were Usha Raina, Rajni Gupta, K.K Joshi, Chahat Chadha, Bindia Okheda and others.
Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
