JAMMU, Dec 31: In a meeting of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) here today chaired by Subash Verma, BMS J&K president, it was decided to hold a nationwide protest demonstration on January 3, 2020 against Union Government’s policy on direct foreign investment and disinvestment in public sector.
Speaking in the meeting Ashok Choudhary, General Secretary of BMS J&K demanded implementation of Minimum Wages Act at par with other union territories of the country.
He also demanded equal pay for equal works, proper implementation of Labour Laws, ESI and PF in all the establishments, abolition of fix term employment and contract labour system in perennial nature of work, regularization of all the mission and scheme, Aganwadi workers and daily wagers.
