JAMMU, June 5: The dead body of an unidentified teenaged girl was recovered today from Ranbir Canal near Toph Bridge.
Police sources said that an information was received this morning by Talab Tillo police that a female body has been spotted floating in Ranbir Canal near Toph Bridge. They said that a police team immediately rushed to the spot and after fishing it out of the Canal shifted in mortuary room of Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for identification/postmortem.
Sources said that the deceased girl is about 15-16 years old and is wearing a pink coloured Top and blue coloured Jeans Pant. “Anybody having information about the deceased girl may contact police post Talab Tillo or police post GMC Jammu,” they added.
