BOMIS holds Cross Country Run

JAMMU, Nov 16: Birla Open Minds International School (BOMIS) successfully organized a Cross Country Run under the theme ‘Let’s Go Green Together’ today.
The event, aimed at raising environmental awareness and strengthening community spirit, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, faculty, and other distinguished guests.
Commencing at 5:30 a.m. from Raja Mandlik Chowk, the run concluded at Green Field Park and was graced by Vikram Randhawa, MLA Bahu, as the chief guest. The JKSSB Jammu team, parents, teachers, and students actively participated in the event, contributing to its vibrant success.
The winners across various categories demonstrated exceptional performances. In the Parents (Male) category, Mohd. Irfan, Mohd. Anver, and Vijay Choudhary won gold, silver and bronze medals, respectively, while in the Parents (Female) category, Dr. Farhat, Isha Jamwal, and Gagandeep secured top honors.
Among students, Shakeeb, Gurleen, and Sana excelled in the Class IX to XII category. In the Class VI to VII category, the winners were Umair, Uzair and Tofeeq, while Mohd. Ayaan, Zayan, and Saksham stood out in the Class III to V category. For Class I and II, Faisal Ali, Zaroon, and Aayansh clinched gold, silver, and bronze medals. The youngest participants, the Kindergarten students, brought cheer with Aarish Nisar, Kunwar Shaurya, and Priyansh earning gold, silver and bronze respectively.
Principal Aparana Kohli lauded the event for promoting the spirit of sportsmanship and environmental consciousness. She expressed pride in the collective efforts of the school community and congratulated all participants for making the event a grand success.
