Bonanza for legislators

Sir,
Ref news item, “Government to shell out Rs 11 crore for purchasing” in this paper on 4th Sept. The Government has done a great favour to the legislators by expending a whopping sum of Rs 11 Crore for purchase of bullet proof luxury cars for them. The financial constraints as often referred to by the present Govt, while dealing with any public need has not been taken in consideration or thought upon while striking a deal of such a hefty amount. What if the public suffers, the law makers and ministers who were already bestowed with huge salary, perks and other amenities, this was an additional bonanza for them. Let Govt employees and pensioners hanker after their  legitimate rights, let RETs, Aganwari health workers suffer badly for their non-payment of salary for months together, let the daily wagers cry themselves hoarse for regularization, let the young and employed youth suffer for their livelihood, let the flood sufferers go from bad to worse but it does not matter the present dispensation. Aren’t ministers moving in luxurious cars, aren’t they being guarded by police and other forces?  Any how the masses have to bear inconvenience and helplessness at the cost of  luxurious life of ministers. The common people are left to fend for themselves and they can easily be taken for granted as has been the practice in the past.
Yours etc….
