DODA, Feb 11: Prem Nagar police arrested a bootlegger and recovered illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, during routine checking, a team from Prem Nagar police post apprehended a man and recovered 37 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Dhaninder Singh alias Dhinda, son of Jarnail Singh, a resident of Drone Jamani.
A case under FIR Number 14/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Thathri Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Prem Nagar police post SI Bhram Dev Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Thathri Sunil Kumar Sharma, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
