India’s doubles exponent Rohan Bopanna and his Canadian partner Daniel Nestor were today seeded seventh in the men’s doubles event of the Australian Open, where they will begin their campaign against Marcos Baghdatis and Marinko Matosevic.
Bopanna and Nestor are coming into the first Major of the year after title win at the Apia International in Sydney.
Leander Paes and Raven Klaasen, who won the Heineken Open in Auckland on Saturday, are seeded 10th and they are pitted against American combine of Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram in their first round contest.
Mahesh Bhupathi and his Austrian partner Jurgen Melzer are expectedly unseeded and they find themselves against another unseeded Argentine team of Diego Schwartzman and Horacio Zeballos. (PTI)
