Bovine smuggler held

JAMMU, Nov 5: Police today arrested a bovine smuggler and rescued ten milch animals, which he was smuggling to Valley.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station, laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound truck bearing registration number JK01B-0880.
During checking police recovered ten bovine animals and arrested the smuggler Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Mohd Yousaf of Bijbehara, Srinagar.
A case under Section 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Station and investigation started.
The arrest was made by police party from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station led by SHO Pervez Sajjad, under the supervision of SDPO Khalik Choudhary.
