JAMMU, Jan 11: Nagrota Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh laid a naka near Ban Toll Plaza and intercepted a Kashmir bound vehicle.
During checking, police team rescued six bovine animals and seized the vehicle.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and hunt has been launched to nab the cattle smuggler(s), who managed to escape from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness.
