Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, June 5: Jourian police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing two cattle and arresting two persons.
As per police sources, a team from Jourian police post laid a naka at Kaleeth and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02BB-1917.
During checking, police rescued two bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Sanjay Kumar and Mohammad Kabir, both residents of District Rajouri.
A case in this regard has been registered at Akhnoor police station and investigation started.
