DODA, July 5: Police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing five cattle and arresting one person.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Doda police station laid a naka at Chalo Morh Domail Bhagwah and rescued five cattle from the clutches of a bovines smuggler.
The bovines smuggler has been arrested, who has been identified as Mohammad Hussain, son of Mohammad Ibrahim Gujjar of Manjmi Dessa, at present Sisarwal Bhagwah.
A case under FIR Number 141/17 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Doda police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Ragubir Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
