JAMMU, Dec 14: J&K Amateur Boxing Association selected 11 boxers for participation in the upcoming 4th Junior Boys National Boxing Championship, scheduled to be held at Patna (Bihar) from December 16 to 22.
The selected team left for Patna for participation in the championship, today.
The selected boxers were Narayan Majotra, Zahid Ahmed, Ateek Rehman, Mehrose Ahmed, Zaffer Iqbal, Arun Singh, Deepak Singh Katoch, Sahil Bali, Ranjeet, Rizwan Choudhary and Kaiser Ahmed Wani, while Anshuman Khajuria and Sandeep Singh will accompany the team as coach and manager, respectively.
The team today screened by the constituted committee of J&K Sports Council including Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, Nuzhat Gazala, Sports Officer Central, Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Stadium, Senior Boxing coach, Anil Kumar and Physiotherapist of J&K Sports Council.
