BARAMULLA, Mar 12: J&K Amateur Boxing Association organised Baramulla District Boxing Championship under the aegis of J&K Olympic Association and J&K Sports Council at Sports Stadium Sopore, here today.
Satinder Pal Singh Manager of Indoor Sports Stadium Sopore was the chief guest, while Mir Abid DySP J&K Police was the guest of honour. They distributed certificates and medals among the winners.
In sub junior 30 kg, Momin Manzoor, Mazain Rasheed and Junaid Ahmad won top three medals respectively, while in 32 kg, first three medals were secured by Sohail Malik, Mohammad Sibghantula and Affaq Arshad Ahmad and in 34 kg, Sheikh Mohmmad, A Shabir and Faizaan Ahmad clinched gold, silver and bronze respectively, besides in 36 kg, Rayan Bin, Musaib Akbar and Mohd Hunza won first three medals respectively.
