JAMMU, Nov 9: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Talab Tillo Branch organized a Branch Level Quiz Competition on the theme “Bharat Ko Jano” at JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School Talab Tillo here.
The competition was organized in junior group (class 6th to 8th) and in senior group (class 9th and 10th).
Seven schools participated in the competition comprising 7 teams in the senior group and 6 in the junior group.
In the senior group, Sai Shyam Senior Secondary School Jammu, JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School Talab Tillo and Government Higher Secondary School Nowabad claimed first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in junior group, JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School Jammu, SNS Vidya Mandir and Co-operative Public School Jammu clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
The prizes were distributed among the winners.
Rajesh Braru was the chief guest on the occasion and Retd DySP Rajinder Sharma was the guest of honour. Alok Sharma, Secretary Branch organized and managed the whole function.
The competition was conducted by Gopal Sharma, State Organizing Secretary.
Among others present were Amita Sharma Prant President, Jagdish Sharma, Ex-President of BVP, Vijay Sharma Executive Members and Geeta Dixit Principal JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School Talab Tillo.
