SAMBA, Apr 6: District police Samba sealed a brick kiln functioning in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramgarh and seized the JCB and car working there for violation of ongoing lockdown orders in view of COVID-19 threat.
During the inspection carried out by joint team of SDM Vijaypur, SDPO Vijaypur along with SHO PS, Ramgarh found a brick kiln M/S New Om Bricks at Chumbian, Vijaypur illegally functioning during lockdown period and violating the orders of District Magistrate, Samba.
Accordingly the Brick Kiln was sealed while the JCB and car bearing Registration No. JK02BW-3800 were seized.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 30/2020 US 188 IPC, 51 (B) Disaster Management Act against the proprietor of Brick Kiln M/ S New Om Bricks at Chumbian, Vijaypur got registered and investigation taken up.
