BSF Ankur play school organizes cultural event

JAMMU, Mar 21:  BSF Ankur Play School organized a theme based celebration ‘ Spring Soiree – a cultural event today.
The event opened with the lamp lighting ceremony by the chief guest, Rakesh Sharma IG BSF Jammu Ftr  and  Pratibha Sharma BWWA president Jammu Ftr followed by the mesmerizing classical dance on ‘Saraswati Vandana’ which was marked by the invocation of the heavenly muses in the vandana dance.
The Head Master of the BSF Primary School presented the welcome address.
The colourful cultural bonanza enthralled the parents and the guests. The students presented a colourful ‘Spring Fusion Dance’ – a journey from winter to spring and the synchronized dance movements to the foot, tapping music enthralled the audience. This was followed by the bedazzling performances in the play ‘Grow More Trees’ during its course of telling about spring season. There was a ‘Sunflower Dance’ and a spell bound ballet performance on ‘Save Girl Child’.
The audience was left spell bound at the students’ calibre and poise.
The chief guest and the guest of honour presented recognition certificates to the students who had excelled in the field of sports and the participants.
The luminaries gracing the occasion included Mr Mehta, DIG Communication and administrator of the school, Dr  S S Khokkar, Principal of the BSF Senior Secondary School and many dignateries of BSF fraternity along with the parents were also impressed by the exhibition of low cost teaching material, art and craft items prepared by the students with the help of their teachers on Spring, Easter and  St Patrick’s Day.
