MENDHAR, Mar 22: 135 Battalion BSF located at Uchhad, Mendhar in Poonch, distributed bicycles among the young girls of an adopted school at Uchhad, here today.
The chief guest on the occasion was S S Tomar, IG BSF, Ftr Jammu and Jameel Ahmed, C O 135 Battalion Uchhad presided over the function.
The girls in the honour of the chief guest presented cultural and traditional dance.
Mr Tomar was on an inspection visit to Ucchad.
He also took stock of the situation on ground with regard to the deployment of the BSF Coys on election duty.
He addressed the comdrs of the BSF Bns and the coys during his visit.
The chief guest blessed the girls for happy and prosperous life.
