POONCH, Oct 4: A civic action progrmme was organized by 88 Bn BSF here at their Headquarters in Khanetar Nallah to distribute various sports items to Government schools.
The schools to which the sports items were distributed included Government High School Khanetar, Government Middle School Dhalera, Government Girls School, Dhalera and Gram Panchayat Khanetar.
Besides, the battalion also distributed Hospital equipments to ISM Health Center Khanetar and Sub Center (Dispensary) Dhalera, Khanetar.
This civic action was part of BSF’s Golden Jubilee celebration. BSF was revised on December 1, 1965 and is completing 50 years of its glorious existence on December 1, 2015.
