BSF holds Cycle Rally

SRINAGAR, Oct 29: On the occasion of ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas,’ the Border Security Force (BSF) today organized a Mega Cycle Rally for forces personnel in which 75 riders participated.
Inspector General, BSF Kashmir, Raja Babu Singh graced the occasion as chief guest and participated in the Cycle Rally which was flagged off from BSF Campus, Humhama in presence of Subhash Chandra, A K Chakraborty, S S Chandel, and Umesh Tewari, DIGs, senior officers, SOs and Jawans.
The rally moved through Hyderpora Chowk, Barzulla Chowk, Bakshi Stadium, Gupkar Road, Dal Lake and culminated at Botanical Garden.
The air was filled with patriotism, and the cycles hoisting the Tri-colors were welcomed by the locals at different places in Srinagar with a lot of enthusiasm and exhibited a great sense of patriotism & National Integration.
While talking to the media on the occasion, IG BSF, Kashmir reiterated the glorious history of post-Independence unification of various princely states with the Indian Republic including Kashmir, all due to the persuasive efforts of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
He further emphasized the Border Security Force’s role and commitment to thwarting enemies ill designs and the commitment of the Border Security Force to thwarting any ill designs of the enemies to disrupt national harmony and peace.
The rally culminated with a mesmerizing performance by the BSF Brass Band and the best wishes extended to force personnel, locals, and the whole country while remembering the major contributions of the “Iron Man” of modern unified India.
