JAMMU, Sept 24: 12th Border Security Force Inter- Frontier Band Competition was held and the Opening Ceremony of the Competition was graced by the chief guest, K K Sharma, Additional Director General of BSF at Chhawla BSF Camp, New Delhi.
Rajni Kant Mishra, Additional Director General of BSF graced the occasion as a chief guest on the Closing Ceremony today.
BSF Fanfare and Band Salute and a colourful March Past of BSF Frontier Band teams from all over India were also organized to honour the chief guest. A spectacular demonstration of synchronized Pipe Band was also displayed on the closing day.
During the Competition, Competitors were participated from 11 BSF Frontiers, which are Kashmir Frontier, Jammu Frontier, Punjab Frontier, Rajasthan Frontier & Gujarat Frontier from Western Border of India and South Bengal Frontier, North Bengal Frontier, Meghalaya Frontier, Manipur & Cachar Frontier, Guwahati Frontier, Tripura Frontier from Eastern Borders of India and 03 Training Centers which are STC BSF Bangalore, CSWT BSF Indore, BSF Academy Tekanpur.
The fist position was bagged by Jammu Frontier, while the second and third place went to STC BSF Bangalore and M & C Frontier respectively.
Chief guest Mr Mishra, presented medals and trophies to the winners of 12th Inter Frontier Band Competition-2015 on the valedictory function.
