JAMMU, Oct 15: BSF School Paloura bagged second spot in North Zone Central Board of Secondary School (CBSE) Cluster XIII Football Tournament which was held at St Soldier International School Sector 28, Chandigarh.
An amazing display of skills by the team enthralled the audience and became the only team from cluster 13 to enter the finals.
The football team played under the captaincy of Rakesh Roshan, a student of Class XII who guided the team to the finals. As many as 47 schools from Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Chandigarh participated in the tournament.
The matches were played on knock-out basis. The football team played very well during the whole tourney and mainly the strikers put their extra efforts to finish as runner up of the tournament.
