JAMMU, May 30: To honour outstanding sportspersons, BSF School Jammu organised a felicitation function in the school premises, here today.
Dr SS Khokhar, Principal BSF School honoured the students of the school who brought laurels by winning medals in the recently concluded Inter School Judo Championship, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Jammu University, recently.
In girls category, Shaivya Jamwal (56 kg ) won gold, Vandana Sani (23 kg) and Diva Kumari (40) got silver medals, whereas Bhawana (27 kg), Amisha Kumari (32 kg) and Sadaf Khan (36 kg ) secured bronze medals.
In boys category, Vikram Sharma (35 kg ) won silver medal, while Bupesh Singh (25 kg), Manik Baloria (30 kg ), Neeraj Kumar, (40kg), Navneet Sharma (45 kg ) and Pamarth Singh clinched bronze medals. The team was trained under the guides of Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, coach.
