JAMMU, Aug 25: The students of BSF School Paloura, Jammu blossomed in the recently held Under-19 Wushu Championship in Jammu, bagging 6 gold and 4 silver medals in the event.
The students who bagged the medals included Sadaf Khan (36 kg gold), Khushboo Bhat (40kg gold), Sagar Singh (60kg gold), Sushmita (52kg gold), Nirbhay Singh (48kg gold) Gurmohit Singh (45kg gold) Ashish Sudani (52kg silver), Vikas Dayal (70kg silver), Venposh Raina (+70kg silver) and Lakhan Sharma (40kg silver).
Meanwhile, the School also bagged 2 gold medals in 45 kg and 70 kg through Sourav Bhagat and Ankush Choudhary respectively. The players are being trained by Rameshwar Singh Jamwal and Amarjeet Singh.
Principal DR SS Khokhar and Headmistress Gayatri Kotwal have congratulated the medal winners.
