BSG organises SOHA exhibition

JAMMU, May 22: A ‘Seeds of Hope and Action’ (SOHA) exhibition organised by Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG) in the Multi-sports Hall of KC Sports Club was held here today.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Arti Choudhary, Managing Director of KC Public School in the presence of Principal Amarendra Mishra, Vice Principal Sanjay Pandey and BSG representative Seema Ahuja.
The exhibition aimed at stimulating reflection, discussion, and ideas from youth on how to achieve the SDGs by 2030 and create a world where ‘No one is left behind.’
The exhibition featured 25 panels put up by the BSG representatives which were well explained by members of the KC Paryavaran Sadan, all centering around the themes of hope and action in combating climate change and promoting a greener future.
The exhibition also included an interactive video on sustainability practices, encouraging visitors to take action in their own lives to protect the environment.
By fostering a culture of sustainability and environmental awareness, KC Public School is equipping its students with the knowledge and skills needed to become responsible global citizens.
Through hands-on experiences and educational opportunities like SOHA exhibition, the school is shaping future leaders who will strive to create a more sustainable and eco-friendly world for generations to come.
Principal Amarendra Mishra thanked Seema Ahuja and her BSG team for arranging the highly motivating exhibition for KCPS students.
BSG is the Indian affiliate of Soka Gakkai International (SGI), a global association of grassroots organizations with 12 million members in 192 countries and territories, that seeks to promote the values of peace and respect for all people.
It has its membership spread over 600 towns and cities across India. BSG is dedicated to the goal of promoting the values of happiness and respect for all through various activities under the umbrella of peace, culture, education, and sustainability.
Under the tagline “Towards 2030: Achieving the SDGs through Sustainable Human Behaviour”, BSG conducts various activities to promote these goals.
